Enjoy ski slopes with up to 3 km of length. Take a ride in the only 8-seater cable car in the Czech Republic or the fastest heated 6-seater chairlift Hofmanky Express.

Černá hora is ready not only for experienced skiers. A large children's ski area LIVE park Formánky is located in the vicinity of the main slopes. Equipped with magic carpets and learning aids the LIVE park provides an excellent background for ski lessons in the resort's own ski school SkiResort Live. The park includes snow tubing course, ski rental and family-oriented tavern Hospůdka na Formánkách.

Černá hora also houses the longest ski slope for night skiing - 1.6 km long slope Protěž with a cozy restaurant of the same name at the bottom station of the chairlift.

In the standard season skiers may traverse from Černá hora to Pec pod Sněžkou on skis and by snowcats SkiTour. To travel across all ski areas visitors can also use free ski buses. Transportation in town Janské Lázně is provided by CITY buses.

If you have too much time on your hands, you can try sledging on Černá hora, snow tubing on Formánky, or take a swim in the Aquacentre with mineral water in Janské Lázně.

Useful tips:

Ski school, ski rental, test centre, ski service and sports shop SkiResort Live can be found in the building of the bottom cable car station.
Ski equipment can be rented for free one day in advance (from 2 p.m.). You can easily avoid morning queues at the rental.
The largest selection of children's ski sets is available in the rental next to LIVE park Formánky.
Special offer for children below five in the course "Little skier" with no rental fee for ski equipment and helmet.
Giant slalom course can be tested on ski slope Sport 3 at the top of Černá hora.
Night skiing might leave you famished. Pop into a cozy restaurant with a fireplace waiting for you at the bottom station of ski lift Protěž.

The oldest sledging track in the Czech Republic runs down from Černá hora. You can give it a go on your own during the day. Sledge rental is available at the bottom station of the cable car (1st floor).
